Roni Levavi is a multidisciplinary artist, industrial designer, conceptualist and intellectual.
Recently, Roni has applied his creative drive to artistic expression. Roni Levavi's unique works playfully explore relations and connections between different materials, nature and art, and between living and inanimate objects.
Roni studied architecture and animation in Los Angeles. In 1996 Roni established his first studio, specializing in the design and manufacturing of Walt Disney furniture. Later, Roni opened Artip Studio, which specializes in space design, marketing products and trademarking for leading brands.
Roni Levavi uses contemporary technologies such as sculpting in VR, 3D printing and laser cutting.
Roni combines various items and materials, some of which are recycled, in combination with materials from nature. His compositional ability is buoyed by a prolific imagination and supported by rich knowledge acquired throughout life, the combination leading to the creation of unique, original, surrealistic and sometimes kinetic works. His love for nature and people, his sensitivity to nuances, emotions, body language and inner worlds, give his created characters credibility.
Some flat artworks become three-dimensional when viewed from certain angles.
Roni adds another dimension to the works of art - the dimension of time.
Roni’s works show different aspects of the world: natural, urban, figurative and abstract. The creations are characterized by a sense of humor that breaks free of conventions.
